I have very busy the last 2 weeks and just didn't find the time to blog my Samples for the French KNot, so I took the time today to play catch up on my blogging.
Soooo , here is my first sample using the French knots. This is a trial run of a dimensional embroidery boquet that is for another project. It is stitched in stranded cotton floss using Bullion knots ,satin stitch, detatched buttonhole stitch, pistil stitch, stem stitch, lazy daisy stitch (detatched chain) and of course the French KNots.
My second sample is a butterfly motif which is stitched in bullion knots, pistil stitch, detatched buttonhole , needle weaving, and French knots.
My third sample is a nice rose motif. It will be the center piece of a cell phone pouch. The rose is all French knots in stranded floss. The leaves are outlined in stem stitch, then filled with French knots. The frame is stitched in chain stitch.
I havent had time yet this week to create a new sample of French knots so here is a pic of a tree on the crazy quilt vest I am making for my mom. The leaves are all french knots .
This is a pic of the "S" monogram on my granddaughters journal cover also done in French knots.
I have an idea for A new sample that hopefully I will get to stitch up before the "dead line".
