I finished my granddaughter's Journal yesterday. The S is done in French knots. I like the needle punch look that it gives by packing the knots tightly together. I did seam treatments on this journal cover without using as many beads and such. I wanted this to mostly embroidered embellishments compared to the last one.
I used detached chain on this journal as my samples for TAST . I knew I wouldnt have time this week to work on my samples on aida cloth.

This is my nieces birthday gift. I finished it today. Been doing alot of stitchin' while my husband is out of town.
It is constructed from a pattern I created a while back for a class and kits that I am selling at my local quilt shop.
It is all cotton fabrics, DMC perle cotton , rayons, stranded floss , beads, sequins, gemstones and other embellishment finds.
this is a beaded flower that I love to make on my projects. The flower loops are created by stringing an odd number of beads on thread and stitched like a lazy daisy.
